DOCS Scheduler™ Setup
Instructions: Below are a series of steps that will be performed to ensure your system is configured properly to use with DOCS Scheduler™. As each step is completed, it will be marked with a green checkmark, or a red X. If receive a red X, the verification will stop. Correct that error and refresh the page. Once all steps are completed successully,
please return the the log on page at http://www.docsscheduler.net.

Note to IE 7 Users: You may receive an error during the trusted site edit. This is due to a change in the way IE handles security. Either the page will incorrectly warn you that this is not a trusted site or you may receive a script error (yellow warning sign in the lower-left corner) that says IE was unable create an ActiveX component. If you receive either of these errors, do the following:

  1. Go to Tools > Internet Options > Security
  2. Click on the Trusted Sites logo
  3. Click on Custom Level...
  4. Scroll down to the item "Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe"
  5. Click "Enable"
  6. Click OK to dismiss the Security Dialog
  7. If you receive a warning dialog, "Are you sure you want to change the settings for this zone?", click YES
  8. Click OK to dismiss the Internet Options Dialog
  9. Press F5 (or Refresh) to recheck your system
System Configuration
¨ Checking your system for the proper versions of Microsoft software components.

If required components are not installed, or older versions are installed, the complete system configuration page will be shown.

Internet Explorer Trusted Site
¨ Checking your Internet Explorer settings to ensure www.docsscheduler.net is listed as a trusted site.

Note: As part of the verification process, a message box may ask you if you want to run an ActiveX control that might be unsafe to interact with other parts of this page. Click Yes.

Error: www.docsscheduler.net is not listed
as a trusted site.

Do the following:
1. From the Internet Explorer Menu,
Select Tools
Internet Options...
1. From the Security Tab,
select the Trusted Sites icon.
3. And click Sites...
4. In the box "Add this web site to the zone:" type
http://www.docsscheduler.net
5.
Very Important!
The checkbox "Require server verification..."
must not be checked.
6. And click Add.
http://www.docsscheduler.net
should now appear in the "Web Sites" box.
7. Click OK

You should now be back at the Security Tab.

8. Click OK to exit the
Internet Options dialog box.
